Saracen sponsors TBA Annual Seminar

Saracen Horse Feeds are proud to be sponsoring the Thoroughbred Breeders' Association Annual Seminar on June 28th at Tattersalls, Newmarket and June 29th at Newbury racecourse.
The theme for this year's TBA Seminar is 'From Foal to Finish - Nutrition and Veterinary Management to maximize profitability'. The event will feature speakers from the internationally renowned research organisation, Kentucky Equine Research. Their president, Dr Joe Pagan, Ph.D, and resident veterinarian, Dr Bryan Waldridge, DVM, MS, will present current research findings alongside leading parasitologist, Professor Jacqui Matthews, Chair of Veterinary Immunobiology at the University of Edinburgh, who will present her research funded by the TBA/HBLB. Veterinary updates giving the latest news and exploring current issues facing breeders will be given by James Crowhurst MRCVS from the Newmarket Equine Hospital, Andrew McGladdery MRCVS from Rossdale & Partners and Ed Lyall MRCVS from The Arundel Equine Hospital.
Some of the topics that will be covered include – Reducing skeletal disease and reproductive losses, Improving feeding efficiency, Lawsonia intracellularis, Rhodococcus equi, Hemoabdomen post foaling, Equine abortion and Managing anthelmintic resistance.
