Diet Description
This amazingly versatile mix is being successfully used in situations as varied as a top competition at Badminton to pony club games. This is achieved by supplying energy from the optimum balance of oil, fibre and complex carbohydrate sources.
One of the reasons for the quality of the Saracen mixes is the inclusion of alfalfa instead of compounded pellets and fillers. This means that it is often necessary to feed less Saracen Sports Horse Mix than other traditional feeds on a weight for weight basis, to give the same nutritional value.

I use the sport horse mix for my 18 yr old horse. We hunt all through the winter & event a little in the summer to keep him ticking over. The mix gives him the right balance of energy for a full day hunting. This is one of the best feed that I have found for my horse.
