Diet Description

Luminance™ is the ‘next generation’ in equine conditioning supplements. It is a fortified conditioning supplement that is part rice bran, part milled linseed, providing a rich source of Omega-3 fatty acids. Designed to add energy to the ration, Luminance™ is a pelleted supplement that will also provide some supplemental vitamins and minerals. The oil levels are high, so the energy density of the product can be used to good effect when fed strategically to achieve optimum condition.

Using Luminance™ is an easy and palatable way of adding calories to the diet of any horse needing condition, but the combination of stabilized rice bran and milled linseed gives an extra dimension in how quickly they respond. Linseed is the richest vegetable source of Omega-3 fatty acids. Increasing dietary levels of Omega-3 fatty acids can have extremely beneficial effects on a sales yearling’s coat and skin, and significant benefits to the reproductive status of the stallion and mare have been well documented.

Luminance™ also contains a unique ingredient called Cell-rate. The components of Cell-rate play an important role in the structural, metabolic and energetic functions of cells and their proliferation. During times of extraordinary demand (growth, reproduction, environmental challenge from disease or recovery from injury) Cell-rate provides a unique mechanism for meeting those demands with beneficial nucleotides. Nucleotides are part of DNA and RNA and are needed for the normal reproduction and multiplication of living cells and are fundamental to their biological function. The oral supplementation of nucleotides maintains optimum time and energy for cell division and normal proliferation in the body.
