There were many exciting moments at Royal Ascot this year; here is our Roll Of Honour :-
Tuesday 16th June –
Strike The Tiger won the Windsor Castle Stakes (Listed Race), trained by Wesley Ward.
Cannonball was sixth in the King’s Stand Stakes (Group 1), trained by Wesley Ward.
Aqlaam was third in the Queen Anne Stakes (Group 1), bred by Granham Farm.
Treadwell was fifth in the Coventry Stakes (Group 2), trained by Jamie Osborne.
Wednesday 17th June –
Ouqba won the Jersey Stakes (Group 3), bred by Highclere Stud, and Deposer was second, trained by John Best.
Jealous Again won the Queen Mary Stakes (Group 2), trained by Wesley Ward.
Chantilly Tiffany was fourth in the Windsor Forest Stakes (Group 2), trained by Ed Dunlop.
Good Again was sixth in the Sandringham Handicap (Listed Race), trained by Gerard Butler.
Thursday 18th June –
Diamond Johnny G was sixth in the Norfolk Stakes (Group 2), trained by John Best.
Flying Cloud won the Ribbesdale Stakes (Group 2), bred by Gainsborough Stud Management and Uvinza was third, trained by William Knight.
Geordieland was third in the Gold Cup (Group 1), trained by Jamie Osborne.
Fareer won the Brittania Stakes, trained by Ed Dunlop.
Friday 19th June –
Habaayib won the Albany Stakes (Group 3), trained by Ed Dunlop.
Your Old Pal was second in the King Edward VII Stakes (Group 2), bred by Meon Valley Stud and Aqwaal was fifth, trained by Ed Dunlop.
Yankee Doodle was second in the Queen’s Vase (Group 3), bred by Meon Valley Stud.
Saturday 20th June –
Dansant was third in the Hardwicke Stakes (Group 2), trained by Gerard Butler and Illustrious Blue was sixth, trained by William Knight.
Cannonball was second in the Golden Jubilee Stakes (Group 1), trained by Wesley Ward.
