The beginning of that week had marked a turning point for Kingwood House, when Sterling Sound ended a 91-day wait for a winner at Ascot on Sunday. The stable had been shut down for six weeks with a viral infection

"I absolutely love to win races at this meeting - it is our Ascot," said Marcus. "The horses haven't been right, but I always knew it would come right in the end.”
