Spencer Wilton began his riding career in eventing, representing Britain at pony and young rider level before he changed direction and began competing in dressage.

Since 1998 he has won numerous national championship titles including the Intermediare I in 2004 and he made his Grand Prix debut with Dolendo last year. He beat two UK team members at the 2006 Hartpury CDI to take the Grand Prix Special and was part of the British Team at the 2006 CDI at Hickstead where the team came second.
