Georgina Frith

Name: Georgina Frith
Location: Surrey
Occupation: Three Time European Champion Carriage Driver
Georgina Anne Frith is one name rapidly becoming synonymous with top level driving
Georgina followed the typical pony club route, and with a brother 18 months older, they always had similar ponies, so their dad took to driving them as a pair to compete himself.
Georgina started grooming for her father and as soon as she was old enough, she took over the reins. As a 15 year old, she got her first taste of competitive success as runner up at her First Pair National Championship. After completing university, Georgina's focus returned to driving and she dominated pony team driving during the 1990's winning the Nationals seven times and the Europeans a record three times. Georgina imparts her considerable talent and knowledge through training the talent of tomorrow; her successful clients include the USA pony team for the Worlds in 2005 (Suzi Stafford achieved Gold), Julie Hoskyns (short list for Pony Worlds next year) and Lisa Stroud (USA national Pony Team Champion).

'I am lucky to work with Saracen Horse Feeds, who are the only company to have stuck with me whilst I was going through the transitional period from amateur to semi professional. The less time you have to spend earning, the more time you can spend training and the better horses, equipment and staff you can afford. It's a very simple equation and Saracen Horse Feeds understand my horse's requirements, as much as they do the riders. Their strap line of 'Supporting tomorrow's talent today' couldn't be truer in my case!"
