Making a difference
Our pioneering ration development programme has made a real impact on the care and welfare of horses. With the launch of our "Veteran" Mix in 1993, we made a difference to thousands of older horses with a diet specifically tailored to their needs. We feel that it is important to give something back to the horse, who gives us all so much pleasure. This is why we actively support the important work the International League for the Protection of Horses does for less fortunate horses.

This is an advanced computer programme that can calculate your horse's nutritional requirements, and is freely available to you - Feedcheck form.

Saracen is the exclusive KER Team member in the UK, and along with a network of other international horse feed manufacturers is devoted to the advancement of equine nutrition. All ingredients used by Saracen Horse Feeds are of the highest quality, and are selected for palatability, consistency, and availability before being carefully processed, to improve digestibility and optimise absorption and utilization of the nutrients by the horse.
Saracen Horse Feeds only use ingredients in their horse feeds that are non-genetically modified. and are subject to a rigorous documented audit trail to ensure traceability.
‘ID preserved’ raw materials are segregated from potential contaminates at all stages of the production process including harvesting, storage and transportation. However no absolute guarantee can be given as cross contamination by wind, insects or inadvertently during shipment could occur. |
